Jessie Smith is the Director of Operations at Medical Executive Partners with a focus in Operations, Human Resources and Project Management. Jessie is a graduate of Tulane University with a Master of Health Administration. During her graduate studies, Jessie completed an administrative internship at Daughters of Charity Services of New Orleans. Here she successfully established a Corporate Responsibility Program focusing on promoting good corporate citizenship in addition to identifying high-risk service areas. She also collaborated with members of the leadership team to formulate and update over 80 organizational-wide policies to improve and protect the operational efficiency and viability of the organization. Moreover, Jessie has experience with administering patient satisfaction surveys and peer review reports, developing an Employee Handbook, and preparing credentialing applications.
Jessie obtained at B.S. from Texas A&M University. Throughout undergraduate, she was a laboratory research assistant and participated in studies focusing on how cell death and survival genes promote the development of cancer and the psychology of the human perception of pain while under stress. Jessie has experience in training students on standard laboratory protocol, maintaining laboratory safety standards, and preliminary data analyses.
